Applications and permits are separate City processes. Most building permits never involve a development application, and the two counts above are not connected — a permit issued this month is not the outcome of an application made this month.
An application is a request, not an approval. Sale prices cover TRREB district C02, which may cover a wider area than Yonge–St. Clair alone.
