When a published figure later changes — a late-reported record, a source revision — it is listed here rather than edited silently: the date, the figure, what it changed from and to, and why. Every entry links back to the edition it corrects.

June 2026

  • 2026-09-06 — Toronto Police’s data, pulled on 2026-09-06, no longer includes one assault reported in June 2026. This month’s total is now 44 (published as 45) and the 12-month average moved with it. Every comparison in the headline still holds.
  • 2026-09-09 — This edition’s summary now says that 13 of June’s 23 reported assaults were recorded at one location, which Toronto Police classes as a transit station or vehicle. The location-disclosure rule (About the data, “What’s included”) was adopted on 2026-09-09 and applies to every edition that meets it; June 2026 does, and did when it was published. No figure has changed.

September 2026

  • 2026-09-08 — One late-reported theft over, reported to police in August, is now present in Toronto Police’s data from 2026-09-07. This month’s total is now 52 (published as 51) and the 12-month average moved with it. Every comparison in the headline still holds.
  • 2026-09-08 — This edition carried July’s average sale price forward because TRREB had not yet published August’s. Market Watch for August 2026 was published 2026-09-03, and the module now shows August’s average sale price for district C09, $2,668,863 across 18 sales, in place of July’s; the year-to-date average, sales and median moved with it.

July 2026

  • 2026-09-06 — Toronto Police’s data, pulled on 2026-09-06, no longer includes one assault reported in July 2026. This month’s total is now 32 (published as 33) and the 12-month average moved with it. Every comparison in the headline still holds.

May 2026

  • 2026-09-06 — Toronto Police’s data, pulled on 2026-09-06, no longer includes one theft from motor vehicle reported in May 2026. This month’s total is now 43 (published as 44) and the 12-month average moved with it. Every comparison in the headline still holds.
